The Arrival Survival Team is looking for student leaders willing to help students during Fall 2009 opening. Being an AST member is an enjoyable, quick, and rewarding experience that looks great on your resume! AST was created in 2004 by the Department of Resident Life. That first team of 35 students has now grown to over 100 team members with a reputation of great customer service and dependable assistance to both new students and their families, and to Resident Life staff. Our team members are positive role models willing to be friendly and lend a helping hand during Fall move-in. Team members work the two main days of opening, acting as a resource for new-to-housing students and their families. In return you'll get free stuff, leadership experience, and the first chance to meet your new neighbors! Got questions? We've got the all the information you need! Contact the AST Coordinators, Emily Doane and Amye Lee by e-mail ast@umd.edu, phone (301) 314.4255, or stop by the Office of Educational Programs and Outreach located at 1111 Annapolis Hall. We'd love to share you how you can be involved! The online application is now closed. Please contact the AST Coordinators at ast@umd.edu if you wish to apply. Emily Doane Amye Lee Olan Garrett
