"The Overnight Stay Program allowed me to experience college life - the real reason I chose to attend College Park. Academics are important, but life is important too. Coming for the program really clinched my decision to attend Maryland because I spent one night pretending I actually lived in that hall."

When You Arrive
Signs and balloons will direct you to the Cambridge Community Center (CCC) once you arrive on campus. Women should arrive at the CCC (see map for locations and click here for parking information) for the program by 6:30 p.m. and men should arrive by 7:30 p.m. Please plan to arrive on time, taking traffic and weather conditions into consideration, as your host will be waiting for you. If you are unable to arrive by your designated time, we will assume that you are not coming, and we will be unable to accommodate you for the evening.
Once at the CCC, please check in at the Guest Check-In Table. A question and answer session about the University of Maryland will follow. The Coordinator will speak to you about the procedures, rules, and expectations for the evening, and provide you with instructions for the Spring Open House the following day. Once she has finished speaking, you will meet your host. He or she will take you to Check-Out where you will receive your free tickets to the Hoff Theater and TerpZone, the bowling alley and billiard center in the Stamp Student Union, to be used that evening and to tour the Eppley Recreation Center.
