ELLICOTT COMMUNITY
The Ellicott community is comprised of Ellicott Hall, Hagerstown Hall, and LaPlata Hall. The Ellicott Community office is located at LaPlata Hall and is open Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 am to 4:30pm.
The community includes:
- coeducational Ellicott, Hagerstown and LaPlata Halls;
- a 24-hour service desk in each hall;
- wireless connections in first floor study lounges in Ellicott, Hagerstown, and LaPlata Halls;
- the Gemstone program, whose students are housed in Ellicott Hall;
- the only air conditioned hall on North Campus, LaPlata Hall;
- The Diner, which is located in the center of the community;
- basement recreation room in LaPlata Hall; and
- quiet study locations in each of the three halls
